3-Pack Blood Parrot Cichlid 1.5-2" Live Freshwater Tropical Aquarium Fish

The Blood Parrot Cichlid is one of the most popular freshwater aquarium fish, admired for its rounded body, distinctive beak-like mouth, beautiful orange-red coloration, and friendly, interactive personality. This attractive hybrid cichlid makes a wonderful addition to appropriately maintained freshwater aquariums.

Each fish measures approximately 1.5–2 inches, and this listing includes 3 Blood Parrot Cichlids.

As they mature, Blood Parrot Cichlids develop a fuller, rounded body and increasingly vibrant orange, red, or yellowish tones. Juveniles may display lighter coloration that naturally changes as they grow. Their curious behavior and engaging personalities make them especially enjoyable for aquarium enthusiasts.

Blood Parrot Cichlids generally reach approximately 6–8 inches as adults. They thrive in spacious aquariums with excellent filtration, stable water conditions, and plenty of swimming space. Driftwood, smooth rocks, caves, and other decorations provide hiding places and help reduce stress.

These fish are generally peaceful compared with many other medium-sized cichlids, although they may become territorial as they mature. They can coexist with appropriately sized, non-aggressive tankmates when sufficient space and hiding areas are provided.

As omnivores, Blood Parrot Cichlids readily accept high-quality cichlid pellets, frozen foods, brine shrimp, and occasional vegetable-based supplements. A varied diet supports healthy growth and natural coloration.

Each fish is carefully selected and professionally packed with oxygen and insulation for transportation. Photos are representative; natural variations in coloration, markings, and body shape may occur. Fish are sold unsexed.

You will receive 3 healthy Blood Parrot Cichlids, each approximately 1.5–2 inches.
