At this size, these are already substantial specimens and can make an impressive addition to a properly sized freshwater aquarium. Provide strong filtration, good oxygenation, driftwood, caves, and plenty of hiding areas.

Brevis Plecos are primarily bottom-oriented and appreciate a varied diet. Offer quality sinking wafers and pellets supplemented with vegetables and occasional protein-rich foods to maintain good body condition.
