Live Fish Shipping Policy – Lightning Aquatics World

1. Service Overview
At Lightning Aquatics, we specialize in the sale and shipping of high-quality live fish. Every order is carefully prepared using high standards of handling and packaging to ensure each fish arrives safely and in optimal condition to its new home.

2. Preparation and Packaging
All fish are individually selected and packed using treated, oxygenated water in securely sealed bags. These are then placed inside insulated thermal boxes to maintain stable conditions during transit.

3. Shipping Options

·  Standard Shipping (Free): Available Monday through Wednesday with an estimated 2-day delivery.

·  Express Shipping (Next Day): Available Monday through Thursday for an additional fee. Recommended for regions with extreme weather or more complex transit routes.

4. Shipping and Processing Schedule

·  Standard shipping orders are processed and shipped from Monday to Wednesday.

·  Express (Next Day) orders are processed and shipped from Monday to Thursday.

·  Orders received after Thursday will ship the following Monday, to prevent weekend delays.

5. Delivery and Customer Availability
To ensure the well-being of the fish, we recommend that someone be available to receive the shipment at the expected delivery time. Prompt receipt of the package helps maintain the proper environment for the animal.

6. Live Arrival Guarantee
All shipments are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.
In the rare event of loss during transit, the customer should contact us within 2 hours of delivery, including a clear photo of the fish inside the sealed bag.
We will evaluate each case and may offer a replacement or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.

7. Weather and Shipping Restrictions
To protect live animals, we may postpone shipments during extreme weather conditions (e.g., heatwaves, freezing temperatures). We ship only to locations where courier services can guarantee delivery within 48 hours.

8. Buyer Responsibility
Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the selected species is compatible with their aquarium setup and complies with local regulations. We do not accept returns due to incompatibility, mistaken selection, or unsuitable tank conditions.
