At 8–9 inches, these are already substantial specimens and make outstanding centerpiece fish. Pike Cichlids are intelligent, active predators that appreciate spacious aquariums with strong filtration, good oxygenation, and plenty of structure.

Provide caves, driftwood, rocks, and open swimming areas. Due to their predatory and territorial nature, tank mates should be carefully selected and too large to be considered prey.
